Our restaurant is a collective of amazing people striving to build delightful Indian cuisine

Cafe Saffron Indian Restaurant Shrewsbury started in 2001 with a few young men who had a vision to create the best and only contemporary Indian restaurant in Shrewsbury. The team were well known in Shrewsbury as they had worked in various Indian restaurants in the town, word spread quickly and the restaurant were soon becoming full. Our master Award winning Indian chef now Shropshire's curry chef of the year on multiple occasions, has trained alongside highly established chefs. When we started we only had 35 seats. Thanks to our customers support we have extended our capacity to 110 seats.

We like to go above and beyond for our guests here at Cafe Saffron. We consider all dietry needs wether you require vegan, vegetarian,  wheat tolerant, low fat diets, healthy, authentic or any other needs. We are here to help you enjoy your meal - all our meats are lean and we use olive oil on request, we don't use ghee in our curries. Eating healthy? ask for olive oil in small amounts.
